Nissan India, in an attempt to boost its service network has partnered with MyTVS. Before this, their sister brand Datsun, had also announced its association with the South India based service specialist, MyTVS. After this Nissan will soon have eight Nissan Authorised Service Points in Tamil Nadu, in addition to its own dealer network of 23 outlets, to improve customer access to car service.
The company believes that increase in the number of options for getting your car serviced along with the convenience of getting the work done increases the pleasure of owning a product of that brand. This partnership with MyTVS will help both Nissan and Datsun score some brownie points. Owned by TVS Automobile Solution Pvt Ltd, MyTVS is one of the country’s largest companies in the automobile after service industry.
Services offered by MyTVS will include genuine parts availability, consumable service parts replacement (such as oil filters and brake pads), and trained staff providing expert service. Nissan and MyTVS are moving forward with plans for further expansion of NASPs to cover other locations throughout India.
The Japanese brand is aiming to double its reach by 2017 with a total presence of 300 dealers throughout India. This growth will help their network to cover 95 per cent of the population. The Datsun brand has recently launched their third car in the country, the rediGo while Nissan has reduced the prices of the automatic variant of the Micra hatchback.
