It clearly is an indication how important social media platforms are becoming, Nissan has asked Defiance technologies, a company of Hinduja Group to make a Social Media Centre to analyse the talks on popular social media websites like facebook and twitter.
In correspondence, Defiance Technologies has made a center with a team of 30 members to closely monitor the talks related to Nissan and its competitors within 30 seconds. The system will also analyse the talks to show a pattern how people prefer and choose a car especially over the social networking sites.
Subu D Subramanian, managing director and chief executive officer of Defiance Technologies said, “The company has the capabilities to do a complete design, build and operate a dedicated social media command centre for our customers.”
While Nissan’s Executive vice-President after inaugurating the centre said, “As part of our global strategy, we are using localised real-time monitoring in all the regions to proactively listen and engage. This centre will enable us to monitor, analyse data and engage with the customers in real-time. Online engagement has become the strategic tool to get closer to our customers in this space.”
Initially the service will be launched in English and Japanese only, with some 40-50 more languages to follow.
