Though Nissan Terrano has been unveiled and is expected to go on sale from next month, its variant-wise feature list was out of bounds. However, it seems now we have a hang of the feature-wise variant list, thanks to Rushlane.com.
Nissan Terrano is a cross-badged product identical to the Renault Duster. Though the outer shell is different, you get exactly similar things under the hood. The Terrano has a 1.5 Liter diesel mill, available in two states of tune of 85 PS and 110 PS. The Terrano is all set to be an exclusive product, with whispers floating around that Nissan will charge around 50,000-60,000/- more than an equivalent variant of Duster. To justify these higher costs, Nissan is busy stuffing its Terrano with features.
All in all, Nissan Terrano is available in seven manual transmission variants. Unfortunately, neither is there an automatic version on offer nor the speculated 4×4!
The base variant is known as the XE, and one stands to get a driver side air-bag as a standard offering on this variant. Not only that, one will also get front as well as rear power windows and a multi-information display in this variant as well. The higher variant will get EBD and Brake Assist as extra dole-outs over the XE trim. It will also come with a music system and foglights. This variant is known as the XL, and will come with the option of both the 85 PS and 110 PS engines, unlike the XE.
The top-of-the-line variant is called the XV Premium. Here’s the list of all its goodies :
- Dual Airbags
- ABS with EBD and BA
- 16-inch Alloy Wheels
- Reverse Parking Sensors
- Rear AC
- Leather Upholstery
The 1.6L petrol version will be offered in a single variant, the mid-range XL trim. It will come equipped with ABS as well as EBD and BA. The interiors will be adorned by a piano black central console. It will possess foglights, too.
The bookings for the Nissan Terrano have already started on Nissan India’s website. There is the option of exchanging one’s existing vehicle and availing financial assistance.
