Nissan Terrano, the rebadged and slightly redesigned version of the Renault Duster, is being offered with some attractive discounts and offers to push its sales.
Last month, Nissan managed to ship 1,859 units of the Terrano and in contrast, the Renault Duster clocked 3,327 units. Despite these lesser figures, Terrano is company’s highest selling car in India and is priced over the Duster.
So, if you like Terrano and cost was the only deterrent you have an awesome offer here. Customers are being given a chance to save up to Rs 1 lakh on Terrano. Here is the break-up:
- Exchange bonus worth Rs 25,000.
- Accessories worth Rs 25,000.
- Cash discount of Rs 50,000.
However, there is a catch, in fact two! These offers are only limited to the 2013 manufactured Terrano’s lying with dealerships. The second condition is that, these offers are limited to the 110PS diesel variant only. And if you are ready to go for a 6+ old month car, you have a fantastic bargain here. We are sure, if you haggle a bit more, the dealerships will throw in some more to make the deal sweeter!
The 2014 manufactured model, on the other hand, is being offered with free insurance worth Rs 40,000 only. We were informed there are no other offers on it.
The 1 Lakh discounts on the 2013 Terrano, they say, are available only for a limited period, till June 20, 2014. But till the dealers do not clear off their stock, we believe they will continue in some or the other name.
The 1.5L turbocharged diesel engine, produces 110PS of maximum power @3900rpm and 248Nm of peak torque @2250 rpm and is mated with a six speed manual transmission. Its ARAI certified fuel efficiency is 19.1kmpl.
On-Road Prices of Terrano:
Nissan Terrano’s prices are as under:
- XL D THP : Rs 13.02 lakhs,
- XV D THP: Rs 14.11 lakhs,
- XV D THP Premium: Rs 14.43 lakhs.
These prices are on road in Bhopal (MP) and before deduction. So you can deduct about 75,000 rupees from them and additionally opt for accessories worth rupees 25,000!
The stock Terrano is available in the following color options:
- Blade Silver,
- Pearl White,
- Sapphire Black,
- Bronze Grey,
- Sterling Grey,
- Fire Red.
However, being lesser in stock, you may not have too many colour options to chose from.
