Its a downturn and if you are worried as a customer, you better not! It is during these downtimes the car manufacturers are reeling under pressure of lesser car sales and this is when they offer you truckloads of discounts and in some cases treat you as a customer!
Apart from the regular discounts that are running on our everyday cars, Maruti dealers are offering luring discounts on the recently launched special edition models. If you remember, Maruti launched Dzire Regal, Swift RS and Ertiga Feliz recently in the market to push sales, however, they have not really been very successful in that.
As per a pamphlet I received with my newspaper yesterday, a local dealer in Pune is offering these special models with the following discounts:
- Maruti Dzire Regal Edition: Rs 35,000
- Maruti Swift RS: Rs 40,000
- Maruti Ertiga Feliz: Rs 38,000
All these discounts include cash benefits, exchange bonus, corporate/Government employee bonus etc. The pamphlet reads that this offer is valid till 31st August but we assume it may continue for some more time considering the current damp buying environment.
So, if you are considering buying regular variants of these cars, why not buy the special editions which come with a few enhanced features. When we are at this, also let us inform you that the regular variants of these cars are also going at hefty discounts.
