Hyundai has shared media invitations for the official launch of its new Verna which has been termed as ‘New 4S Fluidic Verna’ in the invitation. The launch is scheduled for Wednesday 18th of February in Delhi, and our Delhi team will be covering the event live from the venue.
The new Verna will carry over the same powertrains (with a few tweaks) and gets a new face which is fluidic as well as a little more mature than the current version. Expect rework on suspensions and inclusion of new features to the list.
New Honda City snatched its number one position from Verna after it got a diesel engine, few months back. Hyundai will be looking to strike back and it will be a tough fight for supremacy with the third contender Maruti Ciaz in the fray as well, this time.
With the pie also being shared by other manufacturers, it seems the C2 sedan segment will witness the same aggression as the B2 hatchback segment. Will the market expand or “Is someone gonna get hurt..?”
