Renault’s Dacia brand is preparing for its compact SUV-Duster’s launch in UK which is scheduled on June 28th. At present company has kept mum about specifications of the car as well as its pricing.
The SUV would be launched in both 2 wheel drive as well as 4 wheel drive. Duster’s pricing is touted to be in the range of 12,150 Euros (Rs 8 lakh) for the front wheel drive and 15,150 Euros (~10 Lakh INR) for the 4 wheel drive. First deliveries would arrive in January 2013.
It is not known when is Renault planning to launch the Duster in India. It has been caught testing a few times already. Renault should keep Duster’s pricing competitive in India to give it a good initial start.
