Another milestone achieved by Maruti Suzuki! Maruti Suzuki’s premium hatch Ritz has reached the 2 Lakh sales mark. Ritz was launched in 2009 and it took just 36 months to achieve the figure. We witnessed the same thing with it’s sibling Swift. These 2 cars are among the fastest models to achieve the 2,00,000 mark.
Ritz owners are so fond of owning the car and so this car has more than 1 million fans on facebook that made it the first Indian Auto Brand to achieve the milestone. Maruti Suzuki sold more than 64,000 cars in Indian Market and exported more than 8,000 units to South East Asia and some other neighboring countries.
Mr. Shashank Srivastava, Chief General Manager (Marketing), Maruti Suzuki said: “Launched in 2009, Ritz has indeed played a wonderful inning so far. Ritz owners also, have always appreciated its driving comfort. In current context too, when market is skewed towards diesel, we expect Ritz to gain more volumes in the future as well”.
