The German giants have speaketh! Days before the Beijing Motor Show in China, the luxury car makers from Ingolstadt have released a few sketches which is supposedly a concept of the upcoming Q4 SUV.
The Q4 is the much needed rival from Audi’s stable against the market creator Land Rover Evoque, BMW’s X4 and Porsche Macan.
The sketch follows Audi’s new design philosophy which was also shown on Audi Shooting Brake Concept showcased at the Detroit Motor Show. While the concept shown in Detroit had three doors and will be for the European market; the Q4 has five doors and is for the Asian markets. The interiors seem to be in tandem with the 2015 model of the TT and do look spacious.
In terms of exteriors, the large grill, chrome tipped twin exhausts integrated into the rear bumpers, tiny rear screen, big muscular wheel arches with chunky wheels, coupe styled roofline and the big air intakes in the front add a different appeal to the car. The big Quattro badging also seems to be pretty interesting, though the tiny side rear view mirrors seem impractical.
Audi has not divulged any more details and we expect a lot of official details pouring in later in the month at the Beijing Show on 20th April.
