Summers in India can be unforgiving. Temperatures in many cities reach 45-48 degrees. Such high temperatures can be pretty demanding for our cars. So if you own a Skoda, you can get your car checked for any inherent issues for free.
Skoda Auto India has taken this seriously and is organising a month long Summer Check-Up Camp starting from May 2, 2014 to May 31, 2014. This will be a complimentary service for all Skoda customers as a part of goodwill gesture, and will be available at all authorised Skoda dealerships in India. The aim is to engage with the customers to make them feel that Skoda is unswerving in strengthening its roots in the country, at the same time offering greater value for money to the customers by making sure that their cars are fit to give them the best experience.
The camp allows through check-up of their entire model range on a 16 point inspection plan, which will include an exhaustive inspection of the air conditioner, engine, steering, clutch, electrical system, tires and wheel rims. This check-up will ensure that long distance journeys undertaken by Skoda car owners during the summer vacations will hopefully be free of any untoward incidents and make the drive peaceful and safe.
According to what we have understood, all you need to do is take your car to your nearest dealership and rest in the lounge seating bays with a welcome drink, while your car gets checked on 16-points check ups.
The company intends to continue with such camps in the future and also plans to organise Monsoon Car Care Camp to ensure customer satisfaction. Apart from these check-up camps, Skoda also plans to organise pollution check-up camps as regular intervals.
