Skoda Auto India announced 1.8 percent hike on the prices of its entire range of products which would go effective from August 2012.
The price hike comes in the wake of increasing input prices and fluctuating currency movements. How would this impact its sales would be revealed in next month’s sales results. Skoda sales almost doubled this month with monthly sales registering 4923 units as compared to 2610 units for the corresponding month last year.
Skoda currently has five models in its Indian lineup – Fabia, Rapid, Laura, Yeti and Superb ranging from Rs 4.5 lakh and Rs 24 lakh.
