MotorBash readers were the first ones to check out the glimpse of the 2013 Tata Aria facelift when we shared spyshots of a mule sporting smoked headlamps back in February this year.
Later on,Tata displayed the 2013 Tata Aria at Geneva Auto show with the changes we had shown to you earlier which included refreshed front headlamps and tail lamp cluster (See Details). Today we share with you a couple of more spyshots of the new Aria that is slated to make way into the Indian shores soon.
Observe the new and fresher looking headamps and this mule also carried the revised tail lamps which you can see in our earlier spyshots. These pictures are taken near Tata’s plant in Pune and interestingly, there is a Renault Duster which appears to be an analysis vehicle. We are not sure about this but a possibility hints that Tata might be taking a few cues from the super successful Duster in India.
New 2013 Tata Aria comes with the same 2.2L DiCOR diesel motor but it produces 155PS of power output along with 400Nm of colossal torque. In comparison, current Aria produces 140PS of power and 320Nm of torque. Another noticeable change is the introduction of a 6-Speed Automatic Transmission on the new Aria.
With sales at a dismal low, Tata should be launching the refreshed Aria pretty soon in the Indian market and there are all the chances that it will be launched at some price corrections.
