You saw the first and only conclusive uncamouflaged pictures of new 2013 Force Trax Gurkha at MotorBash on October 15th.
Here we are with a new set of pictures. The earlier set revealed the front clearly and these pictures talk in length about the SUV’s rear and sides and also gives a glimpse of the interiors. This 3-door 4 wheel drive SUV had plenty of space for 5 inside and had seats covered with plastic.
The new Gurkha had plenty of road presence which was amplified by this hot red color. There was a small sticker at the rear glass which read “GRL – <XX>”. The Apollo Hawkz tyres along with Force One shared alloys are the talk of the new tinsel town.
In one of the pic, if you notice closely above the front side fenders, Force has advertised “Power Steering” removing the “GURKHA” tag. If you are unaware, even the older Gurkha had power steering and hence this is not a new feature on the car. But in our brief encounter with the car, we could not notice any “Gurkha” tag anywhere on the butch SUV.
The remaining features and changes as we had talked about in our earlier scoop article were rounded headlamps, sporty roof-rails, trademark chrome plated bonnet to roof snorkel etc. Somehow, this SUV was not running across with agility as we would have hoped, it being caught on a partially clear highway. Does this mean that it doesn’t carry Force One‘s 2.2L FMTECH engine? It might have been the case that the driver was testing something else and did not accelerate too much.
Nonetheless, we are digging deep and trying to find out more. Till then you stay tuned…
