In an interesting bit of a scoop coming in, we have a spyshot of a camouflaged test mule of Jaguar XF luxury sedan from the streets of Pune in India.
IndianCarsBikes has spotted this Jaguar XF and they suspect that this car might be carrying the entry level 2.2L turbo diesel engine for India. If this goes true, we can see price competitive Jaguar XFs roaming around our streets soon.
Further, it is also predicted that this entry level Jaguar XF would lock horns with Audi A6, BMW 5-Series and Mercedes E-Class and might just be priced at somewhere around Rs 40 Lac to give it a fantastic lure-point.
Currently, Jaguar XF is available only with a 6 cylinder 3.0L Diesel mill which produces 275PS of power and 600Nm of torque. The smaller 190PS/420Nm 2.2L engine, which already does duty on Evoque, is expected to power the new XF.
In terms of facelifts, the new Jaguar XF gets an altered front fascia with broader grille, leaner headlamps, DRL lamps and altered bumper. The test mule displayed also has the facelifted parts hidden or tapped to prevent any give away!
