After a lot of hide and seek, we finally have the completely undisguised pictures of the upcoming Verito Vibe compact. Verito Vibe is the sub 4 meter version of Mahindra’s regular Verito sedan.
Interestingly, Autocar says that this is a hatchback but we are still unsure if Mahindra will promote it as a notchback or a hatch. Verito Vibe will go on sale next month and it is expected that Mahindra will price the car very competitively to lend it a value preposition.
The front of the car is pretty similar to Verito sedan but comes with a different blackened grille and a slightly modified bumper. Doors and other body panels appear to be very similar to Verito. Interiors are also pretty similar with a wee bit of changes here and there. Despite the slash from the rear, Verito Vibe is expected to boast of largest boot space among hatchbacks in India.
From these pictures, Verito Vibe doesn’t look absolutely proportioned but we guess Mahindra will promote the acres of interior space and frugality of its engine to sell it across to the masses. Verito Vibe will get only the 1.5L Renault sourced diesel engine which does duty on the regular Verito.
