SPIED: Left Hand Drive Tata Manza Spotted in Pune; For Italy?

Tata, it seems is aggressively targeting international markets which will serve them two purposes – expand their international presence and reduce their dependency on the home market where they are having a tough time currently.

Apart from other right hand international markets, Tata also has presence in left hand drive markets like Italy among others in Africa and South America. A few months back, we had reported spottings of Left Hand Drive Aria as well as an LHD Nano. Now, in an exclusive, we share with you sightings of a Left Hand Drive mule of Tata’s flagship sedan – Indigo Manza.

This grey colored mule is the Safire90 petrol variant with a big ‘LHD’ sticker at the rear glass. Accompanied with this Manza is the smaller sibling Indica Vista but that was proper right hand drive. Nothing else looked amiss or different apart from the driving position and steering at the left hand side.

So, we bust that Tata is planning to take its Indigo Manza sedan to the LHD markets like Italy which already have the Aria, Xenon and the Indica Vista. Manza will ad up to Tata’s lineup as a potent sedan and considering that the engine this car is carrying is already Italy-sourced (Fiat sourced), we feel Tata will have a slight lesser job to do to make it Italy-specific.
