SPIED: Mahindra E2O Looks Funny Sideways; Yellow Colored Mule Also Spotted

Top honchos of Mahindra Electric must be hooked onto the television looking out for any surprise package for electric cars in India in the ongoing budget speech today.

Meanwhile, they do that, we have another set of spyshots of a registered Mahindra Reva E2O. These pictures have been sent to us by our avid reader and friend Nitesh Saini from Bangalore. Erstwhile Reva NXR, this car has been completely redesigned and will come with many new innovative features.

The E2O will be offered in the sporty yellow as these spyshots suggest. But what takes our attention is the funny looking grey colored mule (pic below). From the angle the pic is taken, it has a very funny looking rear specially the rounded bottom.

However, when looked in totality, the car has grown in size and looks more like a car as compared to the earlier variant which just looked plain ugly! E2O, as it will be called now, looks more like a contemporary hatch and will be able to accommodate people inside with relative ease. Mahindra Electric has also featured in top 50 most innovative companies by Fast Company Magazine.

Mahindra has delayed the launch of, what we guess is, a production ready car in hope of some economic packages which could be offered to the electric motor industry. We expect the car to make way soon, may be in a couple of months at max, and we can expect a price tag of somewhere around Rs 6 Lakh.
