SPIED: Mysterious Quanto Test Mule Strapped With Wires Spotted

Along with new SUVs, Mahindra is working on a comprehensive makeover of their current product lineup. After the new Scorpio, it seems, the next in pipeline is the Quanto.

Amidst truckloads of spy pics of S101 (including the few we shared yesterday of a mule with production-ready parts) and Next-Gen Bolero, our reader Austin has shared spy pics of an interesting Quanto test mule which is running without any camouflage but is strapped with wires running out of the co-driver window all the way till the underneath of the car.

We can not notice any cosmetic changes at all at this point. But remember the first test mules of Scorpio did not carry any significant changes to the exteriors as well, but the final product was vastly different.

The new updated Quanto is expected to get a significant makeover and it needs one as well but going by these latest spy pics, Mahindra is continuing with the same body shell. It is expected to come with new interiors, changes to the suspensions, the same (but tweaked) 1.5L 100PS diesel engine and more importantly an AMT gearbox.

This test mule is also running with dummies on the rear seats for load testing and we can still notice the 2 jump seats for kids. Mahindra is expected to launch of the new Quanto update sometime towards the end of this year.
