Mahindra intends to play and play hard in the car segment of India. After Verito and the electric E20, Mahindra’s next shot is this – Verito Vibe which is a compact sedan….errr..hatchback…err….we are confused!
As is evident, Verito Vibe is a chopped version of the current Verito sedan and will sit under it. Now superutp, a Team Bhp member has caught the car while filming an advertisement shoot, most probably for television, in Bangalore. Going by these pics, it appears that Mahindra will promote this blue color as a flagship for Verito Vibe which, frankly speaking, looks a little dull. They could have chosen a brighter and better color for promotion.
These pics reveal the complete body proportions of Vibe and we can only say, it looks ‘interesting’. Only the rear has been modified whereas the front continues to be very similar to the existing Verito sedan. Mahindra could have altered a few bits here and there for proper differentiation is what we feel. Verito Vibe will thrive on its interior space and an expected value-for-money pricing.
Verito Vibe will only be launched with the 1.5L K9K diesel engine and in all probability, it will be in a very similar tuning. Considering the latest developments, we cannot rule out a June launch for Vibe.
But the Question is: Will you buy Vibe over Dzire, Amaze or Swift?
