Who says that the Auto market will face a slowdown when the biggies of Auto Industries like M&M, Toyota, BMW and Audi have reported that their SUVs are completely sold out for the next two months.
There are speculations that Toyota is booking more than 100 units of Fortuner SUV daily which is double compared to last year. It has increased its production to 1000 vehicles per month to satisfy the demand in the market.
M&M has booked more that 25000 XUV500s within 10 days when it opened its booking for a limited time period. M&M is also planning to increase its production from 3000 units to 4000 units per month. The company is also planning to launch its South Korean subsidiary, SsangYong’s SUV Rexton in India during Diwali.
The Audi and BMW are also in this SUV combat and will be bringing in new models sooner. Audi’s Q5 and Q7 are already on a boom in the luxury SUV list. You are going to see one more of its baby – Q3, a compact SUV in upcoming months. BMW is also planning to bring its mid sized SUV the X3.
