Tata Motors is planning a strong comeback into the market and after their Aria and Safari Storme failed to bring any significant spike in its utility vehicle sales, they are working on a new crossover, which will be called as ‘HEXA’.
After the new 2015 Hyundai Verna Facelift, the Korean auto major’s next launch will be the new i20 based crossover. The car was spied recently in a new colour scheme previously unseen in the hatchback.
In its attempt to directly target Tesla’s upcoming Model 3, General Motors has showcased a new Electric Vehicle, Bolt at the on-going Detroit Motor Show. The company is not new to the field of electric vehicles and already sells the Spark EV and Volt plug in hybrid.
Jaguar’s upcoming SUV C-X17, concept of which was showcased at the Delhi Auto Expo, will be a crossover going by the name F-Pace and is scheduled to be launched in 2016. This would be their first performance crossover which the management likes to call as the ultimate sports car and will be manufactured at their Solihull plant.
After launching updates of their high selling hatchbacks (& compact sedan), Hyundai’s focus has shifted to yet another fast moving segment – the compact crossovers and SUVs. Apart from the new Verna facelift, Hyundai is slated to launch two new products in India – the i20 Cross and ix25 compact SUV.
