After almost five months since we shared the first ever spyshots of i20 Active, today we are barely 6 days away from its official Indian launch. Hyundai has rolled out invitations and the car is launching on 17 March in New Delhi.
Back in October last year, MotorBash.com presented the first ever spy pics of the i20-based crossover over the internet and here is the car in front of you absolutely uncamouflaged! Instead of using a ‘Cross’ with the name, Hyundai has named it as i20 Active, which is another thing we liked about it.
After the new 2015 Hyundai Verna Facelift, the Korean auto major’s next launch will be the new i20 based crossover. The car was spied recently in a new colour scheme previously unseen in the hatchback.
Like Maruti, Hyundai is also on a product offensive and we, by now, very well know that they have at least 3 major product launches planned for India – new Verna facelift, i20 Cross and ix25 Compact SUV.
After launching updates of their high selling hatchbacks (& compact sedan), Hyundai’s focus has shifted to yet another fast moving segment – the compact crossovers and SUVs. Apart from the new Verna facelift, Hyundai is slated to launch two new products in India – the i20 Cross and ix25 compact SUV.
