From the times when we had one or two cars in a segment to the current times when sub-segments are being created out of well, nowhere…Indian car market is growing at a rapid pace.
Mercedes Benz India has just launched the new C Class with a diesel heart in Pune for a starting price tag of Rs 39.90 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). They have also commenced the local assembly of the petrol version, which was launched in November 2014 but it continues to carry the same price tag of Rs 40.90 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Mercedes Benz’s performance division AMG had a gala time in India last year with many serious launches starting from sports cars to muscular SUVs. This year, they are going to bring out one of their best looking products yet, the AMG GT.
Mercedes Benz has had a great run in India so far. Right from the S-Class to their butch SUVs, they have been bringing models to woo the car enthusiasts here. The car next in line to spray on us its charm is the E 400 Cabriolet which is being rumoured to have a launch set in the early part of the first half of 2015.
Mercedes-Benz India has officially confirmed that the 2015 C-Class will be launched in the country on the 25th of this month. The car was launched in the European and American markets a couple of months back and we won’t have to wait until next year to get it.
