Even though Renault’s Duster was breathing down the Scorpio’s neck, the Mahindra was still the largest-selling SUV in its segment in India. Still, not one to sit on its laurels, the company just launched the most comprehensively updated generation of its mighty SUV, which, barring the engines, boasts of almost everything new. Heck, even the wheels are new!
Mahindra’s first sub four-metre offering, the Quanto, had generated a fair bit of interest from the prospective buyers in this segment when it was launched in late 2012. It did get decent reviews from motoring scribes as well and it started on a good note.
