It seems that Maruti Suzuki may snatch all the limelight in bringing the Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) on their hatchback Swift which was expected to come on the recently launched Tata Bolt earlier.

While we are not really sure of September 16 launch of ‘new’ Swift that we talked about yesterday, another interesting bit has reached us. While it may seem a bit surprising but what we heard from our sources is that Swift may get an Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) rather than the expected conventional automatic transmission.
