Tata Motors Products at the Auto Expo

Taking advantage of the home-ground conditions, Tata Motors are showcasing a total of 18 new vehicles and concepts at the Auto Expo 2014.

Tata has used their ‘DesignNext’, ‘DriveNext’, and ‘ConnectNext’ strategic principles as pillars for designing their new passanger vehicles. They have unveiled the compact sedan Zest and the hatchback Bolt. The company has also displayed a Design Concept Crossover Nexon, which is a rather handsome looking compact SUV.

The company has also displayed next-generation commercial vehicles running on clean, green fuel. These include the Magic Iris Electric, a zero emission, small electric commercial passenger vehicle, which has been fitted with roof-mounted solar panels for additional charging.

The Starbus Urban FE-Parallel Hybrid Bus is claimed to have lower emissions, reduced running costs and improved milage. The Prime 4032.S bus runs on LNG and ensures better fuel economy. Tata has also showcased the Starbus Urban 9/18 FE-Articulated Bus.

The company has on display a Nano Twist Active Concept and ADD Venture Concept – a van for fun and leisure.

Tata stand also has technologies redefining ride and handling of vehicles like Safari Storm Ladakh, Sumo Extreme and the Nano Twist F-Tronic.

The commercial Prima CX f618.T, Ultra 614, and the Ace Zip XL are also on display at the Tata stand.
