Top honchos in Tata have decided to concentrate on alternate fuel options, to pump some energy in Nano which can have some positive impact in the sales of the small car. Tata Nano emax CNG was first showcased at the Auto Expo 2012 after its sweet own time CNG variant was unveiled at Horizonext 2013 initiative this June.

After caught doing testing rounds the car was set for an October launch, but a few rumors downplayed the October release citing crunch in parts supply and went far to predict a delayed launch sometime in 2014.

However, all these rumors have been negated by Tata who has confirmed that Nano emax CNG will be launched in October. We expect the Nano CNG to make way to showrooms around Navratra festivals and to cost around Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000 dearer than the existing petrol variant.
