We have been keeping a vigilant eye on all the developments at the house of Nissan. A few months back we shared the images of a Sunny test mule with hidden badges, that we suspected to be an Automatic variant of the car.
Now, it appears that the Automatic variant is kept on hold for some time and the company has presented a Special Edition of the Sunny, carrying some extra cosmetic features. Let’s make a list of them.
- A whole new leather upholstery for the interior.
- A 2-DIN DVD-USB music system with Bluetooth and Auxiliary connectivity and touchscreen interface.
- Rear Parking Camera
- Side body mouldings
- Chrome garnish on boot-lid
- A rear spoiler
This Special Edition of Sunny will be available over top end variants of both Petrol and Diesel. Nissan has also announced the prices for the Special Editions. The Petrol XV version is priced at Rs. 8.60 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom, Thane) and the Diesel XV is priced at Rs. 9.68 Lakhs. This car will officially go on sale from February 12.
Meanwhile, Nissan has also increased prices of their cars in India with effect from February.
