While almost all other manufacturers in India are coming up with either fresh product launches or facelift of their existing cars, Toyota Kirloskar Motor has focused on Limited Editions of the existing models.
As the spy pics spoke atop of their voices, we have the SUV in front of us. Toyota has officially launched the TRD Sportivo Edition of the mighty Fortuner.
The two variants of TRD SPORTIVO Edition Fortuner are priced at Rs. 21.75 Lakhs and Rs. 22.6 Lakhs. The TRD Edition Fortuner is available only in 4X2 powertrain option and with manual or automatic transmission. While there is nothing changed in terms of engine bits and other mechanicals, its the appearance which Toyota has worked upon and here is a list of all the features:
- New aerodynamically designed front bumper spoiler
- New rear roof spoiler
- New rear bumper spoiler
- Stylish TRD Sportivo emblem
Only 600 units of this special edition car will be sold till the month of December 2012. So, if you want one, you better hurry up!
Yesterday Mahindra has also introduced the Fortuner rivalling Rexton which is expected to snatch sales from the current leader of the segment.
