After a long wait, as promised, Toyota is finally now has a petrol option for the new Innova Crysta. Starting at Rs 13.72 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi), folks in Delhi can now finally buy the country’s favourite MPV. The diesel version, despite being banned in NCR, has managed to clock 24,000 units. It even has a pending order of over 9,000 units. Deliveries of the Innova Crysta petrol begin today.
- Engine and Fuel Efficiency:
Powering the Innova Crysta petrol is a new 2.7 litre VVT-i mill churning out 166 PS of maximum power and 245 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options include both a manual and a 6 speed automatic gearbox. Just like the diesel version, Innova petrol too focuses on safety. If we talk about fuel efficiency, the Innova Crysta petrol returns a figure of 10.83 kmpl with the automatic gearbox. In the manual version the figure drops down to 9.89 kmpl.
- Features:
Standard safety features include 3 SRS airbags (driver, front passenger, driver knee), ABS, EBD, Brake Assist, three point seatbelt for all passengers with pre tensioners and force limiter. The top end ZX trim gets 7 airbags, and additionally Vehicle Stability Control, Hill Assist Control and Impact sensing door unlock with secondary battery.
- Colour Options:
The company has also introduced new colour options which include Garnet Red, White Pearl Crystal Shine and Avant-garde Bronze (same as the ones seen in the diesel).
- First in Class Features:
The new Innova also boasts of several first in class features which includes automatic LED projector head lamps, ambient illumination and rear auto AC with digital display. The new Innova Crysta petrol, just like the diesel, gets driving modes (eco and power) to play with.
- Pricing:
The new Innova Crysta petrol has been priced in the range of Rs 13,72,800 to Rs 19,62,300 (both ex-showroom, Delhi). Variants includes ZX (7 seater) and GX (7 & 8 seater) for automatic gearbox; VX (7 seater ) and GX (7 & 8 seater) for manual version.
