The new meaner, fluidic facelifted i20 has made it to India. It is available in 2 engine options. In UK, Hyundai will launch the car on 7th May with 3 engine options.
Engine Options:
- New 1.2L 85PS petrol
- 1.1L U-II 3-cylinder 75PS Diesel
- 1.4L CRDi 89HP Diesel
The current i20 starts at £9895 and goes all the way to £13,895 on road. The new face lifted i20 would start £100 more at £9995 (~8.4 lakh INR) and go all the way to £14,295 (~12Lakh INR) for the top variant.
There would be 4 trims in offering: Classic, Active, Blue, Style. The Blue variant gets the immensely fuel efficient 1.1L U-II 3 pot diesel engine with Intelligent Stop and Go and low rolling resistance tyres. And as a result the car can return 88.3mpg UK which is almost equal to a phenomenal 31.26kmpl!
