In an investor presentation carried out by Fiat Chrysler recently, we have got the first ever glimpse of how the new Punto facelift will look like, finally!
And as anyone would have guessed, new Punto facelift and Avventura share a lot of cues. First up, the large front grille, an open mouth, has a horizontal running line. It gets swept back headlamps but there are no projectors which we can see in this image.
The fog lamps are all new and possibly house LED strip, possibly DRLs (or is it chrome?). The air dam is also refreshed and is the only element which appears to be different from Avventura.
Another change worth noting is the interesting alloy wheels this car is showing off. Though, the rear view is not pictured here, from the spyshots we have learnt that there would be significant similarities between Avventura and Punto facelift. New Punto will also get much better interiors from the new Linea facelift which has been launched recently.
Quite interestingly, the Avventura featured here is spotted for the first time without those cycles on the top :D. Till now, wherever Fiat was showcasing the Avventura, it was with those bikes mounted on the top of the car as if they will be offered complementary with the new crossover hatch 😉
Nonetheless, Fiat promised the launch of Punto facelift within the first half of 2014. But it appears that the launch would slip away to the second half. The Avventura crossover will also be launched sometime around the same period within this year. You can check out exclusive spyshots of the production Avventura here.
