Only a few days have passed after we managed to get some clear images and the name of the Maruti Suzuki Alto/800 Replacement Car. Now sources say that this much awaited car will be launched by Diwali, one of the biggest festival of India. This car will be commercially produced from the Gurgaon facility from the month of July – August.
This car will be called as Alto 800 and as the name suggest, it’ll be a 800 cc car, but technologically more updated than the existing 800 or Alto. This Alto 800 is expected to be more fuel efficient and expensive as well. In order to cut development cost, Maruti Suzuki has upgraded the existing engine and platform, avoiding a complete overhaul. Spokesperson of Maruti Suzuki remained unavailable for comment regarding any future model development.
