Upcoming Next-Gen Figo and Figo Sedan Interiors Sneaked

Before things started clicking for Ford again thanks to the EcoSport, it was the present generation Figo which set the ball rolling for the US based manufacturer in India.

The company now wants to take things further, with their next generation Figo hatch and compact sedan which are already doing duty in Brazil under the names Ka and Ka+. Barely a few days back, the new Figo siblings (sedan for the first time) were snapped testing together with Swift and Grand i10 (for benchmarks) and today we share with you some sneaking bits about their interiors. The clean looking, neatly arranged dashboard’s centre of attention is the EcoSport inspired infotainment system. Ford will most probably, also plonk in their specialized software for the same, the Sync 2. The circular aircon vents on the sides get a neat chrome outline. We also see what appears to be a mobile docking station which would/could allow smartphone users to easily listen to the music stored in their cellphones and also use its navigation system.

The Figo hatch and compact sedan would be competing in two of the most aggressive but fast moving segments in the market. Expect Ford to launch the Figo sedan first, sometime in the next few months from their new Sanand plant in Gujarat.
