Volkswagen has launched the Vento TSI at INR 9.99 Lakhs. It is already available at select dealerships and is on sale.
The exteriors of the Vento TSI will be no different than the regular Vento. The only differentiating factor is the tiny-weeny, shiny “TSI” badging on the bootlid of the car. The car has been christened as the Vento TSI, and not the Vento GT TSI. The Vento TSI will also be available in only one variant, the HIGHLINE variant.

Vento TSI Engine & Transmission
Vento TSI is powered by the same 1197cc four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine found on the Polo GT TSI. The power and torque outputs are same with a peak power of 105PS at 5,000 rpm and an impressive 175Nm of torque between 1,500 and 4,100 rpm. The power transfer to the front wheels is done using the 7-speed DSG automatic transmission.
Vento TSI Fuel Efficiency
The TSI petrol motor, although high on torque is pretty miser on its fuel drinking habits. The Vento TSI is rated at an impressive fuel efficiency figures of 16.93kmpl by ARAI.
Vento TSI Price
Available only in Highline trim, Vento TSI is priced at Rs 9.99 Lakh ex-showroom New Delhi.
The steering wheel is adjustable for both reach and angle.
Volkswagen guarantees Pinch-Guard Safety for all the windows. The Vento TSI will be up against other Automatic Transmission variants of cars like Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Maruti SX4, Skoda Rapid, Ford Fiesta, Nissan Sunny and the Renault Scala.
