Ferrari: All 20 Allocated Units for India SOLD OUT

Yes the premium Italian sportscar maker Ferrari is finally here in India with almost its entire line-up. We have all dreamt of them, plastered our walls with thousands of posters, and knelt down in front of our television sets almost every other weekend thanks to Michael Schumacher’s brilliance at the race track. However, this is one brand where you just cannot walk in the showroom, flash your green leaves or plastic cards and take home a car.

What follows the concept of purchasing a Ferrari is an agonising wait for its delivery which can range often to a year, sometimes even more! With the brand now officially operational in the country, one may expect faster delivery but….

At a recent press conference in New Delhi, Ferrari announced that they have 20 units allocated for India for the year. Bookings were opened only in March and all 20 units have been sold out! Yes, every single one of them. The company has two dealerships in the country, one in Mumbai and the other one in New Delhi.

The Ferrari range starts in India with the California T which has a sticker price of Rs 3.45 Crores (ex-showroom, Delhi).

But what you can still buy is original merchandise via the Myntra app. This includes genuine Ferrari collectables like t-shirts, shirts, sweaters, jackets, trousers, caps, sunglasses and bags.
