In India CR-V is hardly doing any realistic numbers thanks to its higher price tag. In the Geneva Motor Show Honda did not have any big shows lined up and displayed 3 concept cars which have already been shown earlier.
1. NSX: This was the most prominent of the three products. NSX was unveiled in Detroit show in January. It had a new hybrid All Wheel Drive (AWD) technology with a mid mounted V6 engine and 3 electric motors.
2. CR-V: Honda also displayed the CR-V concept which would debut in European market. In its production avatar, CR-V would be unveiled at the Paris Salon.
For us in India, we should take a closer look at this because this is the next generation CR-V which would make way for us as well.
3. EV-STER: Also on display was the rear wheel drive electric car EV-STER which is a two seater convertible. This model is expected to soon see into production with an official announcement awaited from the company.
