Ford India registered a very marginal increase in its overall sales. It sold 12,148 units in March 2012 as compared to 12,063 units of March 2011 resulting in a gain of 0.7 percent.

However, domestic sales declined considerably by 13.92 percent to 9026 units last month against 10,485 units it registered in the corresponding March last year. This decline was filled by 97.85 percent increased exports. Ford exported 3122 units last month as compared to 1578 units in March 2011.

In the Month-on-Month view, Ford registered 12.3 percent gain in its domestic sales for March 2012 as it sold 8035 units in March 2011.
