Go+ will be the first major launch of the year and will see the first ever compact MPV slugging it out against smaller hatchbacks as well as compact sedans! The main USP of the car is its space within the confinements of 4 meters. Go+ comes with the ease of additional 2 seats (strictly for kids) at the rear liberating 48L of storage space. However, when not required, use Go+ as a 4-5 seater hatchback with a fantastic 347 liters of boot space!

This has been made possible thanks to an increase of 210 mm in length. The wheelbase and the width remains the same but there is a slight 5 mm increase in overall height as compared to the Go hatchback. The turning radius surprisingly remains the same 4.6 meters as that of the Go which is pretty good for a car of this size.

Go+ comes with the same 68PS/104Nm 1.2L petrol engine which is deceiving for the punch it packs. In no way is it a laggard in terms of performance and actually feels ‘fun’ to drive.

Pre-bookings of the car are already underway and will go through till 14th of this month and the initial few will also get a ‘Welcome Pack’ as complimentary.

According to our calculations, we urge Datsun to start Go+’s prices at Rs 3.49 Lakhs to create that much needed initial surprise wave. Rest, we will get to know at the venue on the 15th. Keep tuned!
