PSA Peugeot Citroen, which is Europe’s second largest car manufacturer, in a joint statement with their global partners General Motors, have signed Major Product Development and Purchasing Agreements.
GM and Peugeot already have a global alliance and, in order to strengthen and expand their presence, have come together for the following three Common Vehicle Platform Development Projects.
The first products from this venture would roll out in 2016. If these initiatives go successful, PSA and GM will also broaden the scope of their Alliance and have the following under consideration:
Peugeot had plans to launch their cars in India and we even had a few test mules that were spotted a couple of years ago in Pune.
