Peugeot is the second largest car maker of Europe and one of the favourite brands of the Brazilian Car Market. When Peugeot revealed their 301 sedan, people expected this car to be manufactured in Brazil and to be on sale in the market. But Peugeot denied any possibilities of producing the 301 in Brazil. Though it is expected to debut in Brazilian Market in 2014 as forecasting for 301 has already begun.
The company aims to sell around 16,000 units of 301 in the first year and gradually expand it up to 18,000 units in the Brazilian Car Market. Peugeot no longer consider Brazilian Car Market as an emerging car market while Brazilians still refuse to accept it.
