Renault Increases Pulse Price By 2 Percent

Renault India, the French car maker has announced to hike the cost of its latest hatchback ‘Pulse’ by two percent. The company had introduced this hatchback at Auto Expo, 2012 at an introductory price of Rs 5.77 lakhs(ex-showroom Delhi) which will now change to Rs 5.89 lakhs(ex-showroom Delhi) after the price revision.

Renault India said “The company has taken this step owing to the rise in input costs which has led to the price hike by 2 percent”. The MD of the company reports that response for the Pulse has been really good and loads of inquiries have been received. Faced with the higher input costs no other options was left and the price needs to be increased.

The new price for Pulse will be effective from March 8, 2012.The price increase will not apply to other models like sedan Fluence and SUV Koleos. The Pulse hatchback will be available in 41 dealerships across the country.
