Tata Motor’s interest with the Geneva Motor show met a new high when they showcased the Hexa crossover concept earlier this year. The company currently sells the Aria in this segment but it has been an official failure. Hexa is based on the Aria and looks much more muscular and well, enticing! The word on the street is that this time Tata is not going to leave its show model as a ‘concept only’ but will bring it to series production.
As per an article on Overdrive, Mayank Pareek, newly appointed President of Tata Motor’s Passenger Cars division, has confirmed that the Hexa concept will be put on sale in India later this year and we know it will be an Aria replacement!
The exteriors have an imposing design with a beefy grille with meticulous usage of chrome. In its concept form Hexa appears interestingly good and already looks close to production ready.

The problem, though, is that no test mule of Hexa has been spotted in India yet and Tata has been known for delaying its products. But for the time being, we will take Mayank Pareek’s word and hope we get to see the crossover towards the end of this year fighting against the XUV500, which has very recently got a facelift!
