The new Revotron engines from Tata Motors are their latest salvo in the fiercely competitive market which has pushed them under a lot of others in terms of market shares.
They have launched Revotron labs as a part of their brand recognition campaign via which they aim to acclimatize prospective customers with the new engine, which Tata likes to call ‘an engine of the future.
The first Revotron lab was inaugurated at Ambiance mall in Gurgaon in the presence of Narain Karthikeyan, the country’s first F1 racer and Ranjit Yadav, President, Passenger cars business, Tata Motors. These labs will cover 15 cities in the next one month.
Talking about the key features of the engine, the management pointed out that this engine has been developed by inputs from a wide range of global leaders such as AVL, Bosch, Honeywell, Mahle and INA in areas such as combustion, boosting, reducing friction and calibration to churn out class leading performance.
