The one of Big three German Luxury car manufacturer Audi has expanded its base with a new showroom at Vadodara, Gujarat. The new showroom extends the manufacturers reach to 29 outlets and the Vadodara showroom will be Audi’s third facility in Gujarat.
With the signature Audi honeycomb aluminium facade the showroom is located at the heart of the city, on Vadsar Ring Road. The showroom spans across 9000 sq.ft with a display capacity of 7 vehicles. The showroom will host the entire line up of Audi cars. The showroom also feature Audi Shop and the Audi Exclusive elements where customers can buy Audi branded merchandise.
Audi also promises world-class service facility for Vadodara showroom which will be available at Makarpura, GIDC. The 30000 sq.ft facility will be operational with trained service personnel capable to service 12 cars in a day.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Joe King, Head, Audi India said
“Like Ahmedabad and Surat, Vadodara is a very strong market in the Western region for us. With three showrooms now in Gujarat, we are consolidating our leadership position in the state. We are confident that this state of art showroom will be able to fulfil the aspirations and needs of our customers with our amazing products and fabulous services.”
The Luxury segment has been heating up with spirited competition from German Mercedes and BMW and a better reach in terms of showrooms and service centers will surely turn the tide in Audi’s favor.
Audi is in aggressive expansion mode with plans to increase its reach to 34 centres by the end of 2013. The company opened new showrooms in Mumbai South, Lucknow, Bhubaneswar, Delhi Central earlier this year and Karnal earlier this month.

The next product from Audi will be the much awaited entry level luxury sedan A3 at an expected aggressive pricing. The car has already been caught testing in Indian and we can expect the launch by early 2014.
