Days Before Launch KUV100 Interiors Revealed!

Sneak into KUV100 interiors confirm that Mahindra has prioritized practicality over funkiness and loads of features!

The folks at Mahindra have set January 15 as the official launch date of the KUV100. But days before it gets live, the micro SUV has been spotted by an Autocar India reader giving us a full view of its interiors. KUV100 is set to be available in 4 variants and this test/display unit is the top end K8 variant.

Like the Datsun Go, KUV100 interiors sport connected front seat with the gear lever mounted on the dashboard. This will allow you to keep your knick-knacks like mobile phone, tablets, papers etc, just by your side, on the seat. However, despite all disclaimers, there will be folks who will use this space to seat people/kids, which, we suggest, should be avoided!

The hand brake lever gets pull type mechanism and is located below the central console. The console gets two rectangular air con vents on top minus the chrome glittering. There is no touchscreen infotainment system to be seen.

The heating and air con system can be controlled by three chrome outlined knobs placed on the centre console. The three pronged steering wheel gets all the necessary controls while the driver instrumentation layout follows a twin pod layout. The speedometer and tachometer appear to be analog with a small digital screen in the middle for showing other readings.

The KUV100 is set to be powered by a set of all new 1.2 litre petrol and diesel mills. The mFalcon G80 petrol mill produces 82 bhp of power and 114 Nm of torque. The mFalcon D75 diesel returns 77 bhp of peak power and 190 Nm of max torque. In terms of safety, the KUV 100 will have ABS standard across all variants with dual airbags available as an option right from the base variant.
