Lodgy MPV Interiors Sneaked; Gets a Touchscreen Infotainment System

Renault must be pinning a lot of hopes on their upcoming Lodgy MPV which will rival Ertiga and Mobilio in India. Considering that none of their other cars is doing any great business (apart from Duster), success of Lodgy will pump them up for future launches.

In an update, interiors of Renault’s Lodgy MPV have been snapped by a reader of Indianautosblog.com. And what we see inside is not something surprising, but things similar to the Duster. Lodgy gets a touchscreen infotainment system, white backlit instrument cluster, circular AC vents and what appears to be a dual-tone beige-black dashboard.

To keep costs under check, expect a lot of part sharing with Duster. The overall space upfront appears to be generous with a fairly decent head space. They appear to be very similar to the interiors of the international-spec Lodgy, which are a mixed-bag in terms of looks.

Renault has officially confirmed launch of Lodgy in early 2015 in India and has shared the following pic with the media. Lodgy will come equipped with the same 1.5L K9K diesel engine and we believe apart from the 85PS versions there may be a more powerful 110PS sporty variant on offer, right at the launch or sometime later.

Apart from Lodgy, Renault will also launch their small hatchback XBA in India which will be their cheapest offering here.
