Mahindra Launches XUV500 Automatic in W6 Trim at 14.29 Lakhs

XUV500 W6 Automatic is the cheapest in lineup!

As India’s love for automatics grows, Mahindra is trying to make the most out of the opportunity. In a latest, they have launched the 6 speed auto unit in the lesser W6 variant of XUV500. Priced at Rs 14.29 lakhs (ex-showroom, Navi Mumbai), the automatic variant is a little over a lakh rupees expensive than the corresponding manual trim.

The W6 AT variant will be available at all Mahindra dealers with immediate effect. This raises the tally of automatic options to 4 which helps the brand offer convenience to a wider variety of public at different price points. Other variants include W8 FWD AT, W10 FWD AT and W10 AWD AT.

The XUV 500 is the only product in its class to offer a second generation 6 speed automatic transmission with all-wheel drive option (W10 AWD AT). Sourced from Aisin, the renowned Japanese auto component manufacturer, the automatic variant aids in hassle-free driving specially in congested roads. Mahindra has also recently introduced automatic transmission in the XUV 500 in Australia.
