Renault India has announced that it will start exporting the Duster to the UK and other countries starting January 2013.Mr. Marc Nassif, Managing Director of Renault India talks about the future exporting plans of the Duster and he says that all right hand drive countries could be potential markets along with UK.
“We are currently looking at Western Africa, South Africa, Malaysia and Singapore”, he added while speaking to Autocar Professional.
It seems that Renault will present the Dacia-badged Duster to the countries having a brand presence of the same. Same way, we expect the Renault-badged Duster to be on the roads of countries like Malaysia, where there is no brand presence of Dacia. Right now we have limited information about the technical specifications of the Dusters which will be exported. The export Duster has also been spotted on Indian roads testing under the Dacia brand. There might be some country specific changes to the export made in India Dusters.
