Chevrolet is on a roll and has umpteen number of launches lined up for this year. One of the most important one for them is the MPV, Enjoy. This car has been caught testing a few times earlier as well. The latest we caught this was yesterday at Pune bypass road just around the entry of Mumbai-Pune Expressway.
The car had a new camouflage (or possibly a new test mule altogether) and as I expect this was the petrol variant that they might be testing. We know that Chevrolet intends to launch the petrol variant Enjoy first and diesel would come possibly later.
This looked like an entry-level variant being tested because of the lack of features that were visible. Door handles were black. Tyres were normal steel rims and also looked thin (possibly 165 or 175). There was no spoiler. The rear view mirror was also not body-colored. The car had beige interiors and there might be a possibility that they would be standard across all variants. The front two rows of seat had head-rests but the third-row did not have any back-rest. As with MPVs, the car looked high and expected to possess easy ingress and egress.
It was an open stretch of highway with a few divider turns and the car seemed to have a decent cruising ability and fairly good initial thrust. I followed the car for around 2-3 kms and I did see it going uptil approx 90 kmph. You can also see the size of the car vis-a-vis other cars in the market. It doesn’t look very spacious or even as big as Ertiga.

Chevrolet would be launching an MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) in India soon. This is the car that they plan to bring in and this is the same car which is sold as Wuling CN-100 in Chinese markets. Chevrolet has named it ‘Enjoy‘ and this car is expected to come around Diwali in India.
Enjoy would be manufactured at General Motor’s Talegaon plant in Pune. Expected to be launched in both petrol and diesel, it would be petrol which might be coming first to us. Petrol would be 1.4L 95bhp engine whereas the diesel would be the ubiquitous 1.3L Fiat Multijet.
Now, looking at the bare-bones this car has, this would be a lovely option if Chevy can price it 1 lakh under Ertiga model to model.
